How to Change the Quick Search Buttons

Overview

Cloudpermit comes out-of-the-box with 3-5 pre-configured Quick search buttons that allow you to apply a filter with the click of a button. This article explains how you can change those buttons to your liking. 

How to Change the Quick Search Buttons

  1. Log into Cloudpermit at ca.cloudpermit.com 
  2. Scroll down to the Search box
  3. Click EDIT
    1. It is located on the right side of Quick search
  4. Click the downward facing arrow on the right side of the Quick search button you want to change
    1. This will prompt open up a list of the filters either you've created or were configured for you out-of-the-box 
  5. Select the filter you want to appear as a Quick search button from the list of available filters
    1. Once you do, you'll get a confirmation of the change at the top right of your screen
    2. Please note, if you forget how to create a new filter, please click click here
  6. Click DONE
